Finishing up quarter one with Mixed Media! Some awesome and inspiring pieces have emerged in this unit exploring materiality and layering!

Here we are nearing the end of the year! The Capstone show up in the gallery looks wonderful! Classes are creating all sorts of wearable art, watercolor portraits, and more! Pictured below is one of the 2D submissions of all student collaborative abstract artwork called "Make a Mark" sold for this year's da Vinci Art Auction.

A couple creative submissions to the annual "Doodle for Google" contest! So much variety in their ideas for "What Inspires You"!
Up now in the gallery! PDX Jazz Festival poster designs. Students created their very own designs based on the history and culture of Jazz music. Classes also listened to the music for inspiration towards their visual art!
